My day started at 2:00 AM with a wake up call and 8 KMs walk to the temple.
At 4:30AM about 3000 people welcomed four groups of shamans coming at the same time from four directions of four different villages where the sacred objects and dresses of their helping deities are stored.
All groups were accompanied by the traditional musicians and villagers.
What an incredible way to start the special day. I thought of you all world shamanic communities!
They said very few people came this year. What level of participation must have been in previous years?
Highlight of the day: A blind devotee sang the greatness of Ugratara and the shaman's gathering of today in short. I have a full version which will be shared in future.
He moved and melted my heart. I have promised to help his children go school.
Spontaneous, heart-centered and deeply spiritual man!
